Brad Lockhart
Brad is the President & co-owner of Well-Tech and does most of the office management and contracts for the company.  His background includes “B”pressure Welding since 1976, completing two years at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to obtain his degree in Welding Engineering Technology in 1987 - 89, developing a welding inspection company certified to the CSA/CWB 178 standard and qualifying to the CSA/CWB 178.2 standard Level III welding inspector’s certificate before becoming a partner in Well-Tech.   This type of background and practical experience is a valuable asset to the company.

Ken Shelstad
Ken is the Secretary Treasurer & co-owner of Well-Tech and is involved in the management of the field operations and the equipment maintenance/purchasing/operating personnel.  With 17 years on heavy equipment, Ken has proven to be a very competent operator and has developed into an excellent manager of the operations personnel.  In today’s environmentally sensitive workplace, a soil manager is essential to try to maintain proper soil management on our projects and instruct our operating personnel on the ways to effectively manage excavation.

Jeff Lockhart
Jeff is the Construction Manager & co-owner of Well-Tech. He has brought 12 years of valuable management experience with him since starting with Well-Tech. After learning the oil industry from the ground up he has become an invaluable part of the management team. Drawing upon his natural people skills and management capabilities he has earned the trust and confidence of all that work with him.

Brandon Harker
Brandon is our lead field construction supervisor & co-owner of Well-Tech .  He has been with Well-Tech since 1998 and has experience in all aspects of pipeline and facility construction.  With Brandon’s efficient organizational skills, he has excelled in completing projects in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.

Bruce Decoste
Bruce is our quality control and safety manager. He has been with Well-Tech for the past 8 years and worked his way from the ground up in our operations. Bruce is currently training to become a certified safety auditor within our company.   

Richard Nevil (NIP)
Richard or NIP as he prefers to be called, has been involved in the Taber Oil patch for more than 35 years.  Starting out on the drilling rigs, NIP worked up to tool push status.  After 16 years, he wanted to change his lifestyle, so he got involved in working maintenance crews.  After being a crew foreman for another company for eight years, NIP broke out on his own and called his company NIP’s Oilfield Service.  Brad and NIP had worked on many projects over the years together, and when the management transfer from Louis to Brad & Ken was taking place, NIP was asked to join the team.  He did so, and has been supervising our crews for steel and fiberglass projects since joining our company.

Jason Hull (Jag)
Jason has been a “B” pressure welder since 1993, the last 10 years exclusively for Well-Tech and has been a tremendous asset to our welding team.  Jason has expanded his welding operations to include site supervision and additional welding personnel.  His welding background and organizational skills are a definite asset to Well-Tech’s core of company representatives.
